Sample shipments still need measurements of the prepared goods and a clear receiving brief. A smaller trial quantity does not remove the need to check the collar footprint, accessories and handling arrangements.

A practical example
A sample may carry additional protective packing that is absent from a regular shipment. Specify that packing so a trial enclosure is not chosen from the bare item alone.

Explain that the enquiry is for samples and ask about the available supply arrangement. Normal full packs contain 120 collars, so confirm the quantity offered for the trial.
