Pallet Collars: Goods That Overhang
Goods that overhang a pallet need a packaging review before collars are ordered. Collar sides define an enclosure, so an item projecting beyond that enclosure cannot be resolved by adding height alone.

A practical example
A long handle or mounting flange can extend beyond an otherwise compact component. Showing the full outline makes the fit discussion more useful than quoting the central body dimensions.

Send an overall dimensioned sketch and ask whether a standard footprint is suitable. Do not force a collar arrangement around an incompatible load.
