Pallet Collars: Separating Similar Parts
Similar parts need clear identification when packed within one collar enclosure. Physical separation can support the layout, while your inventory and labelling process identifies what belongs in each position.
Part of our pallet collars buying and packing guides.
What to check
- Assign a product reference to each group
- Sketch the separation needed
- Record quantities in each compartment
A practical example
Two fittings with nearly identical shapes can be confused at receipt if they share one loose compartment. A mapped layout gives the receiver a more useful packing record.
Your next step
Ask about divider options for the selected footprint. Keep the product identification plan alongside the confirmed packaging specification.
Discuss your collar requirement
Send the footprint, collar height, quantity and delivery postcode. Include any pallet, lid or divider requirements.
